Yesterday we talked about Bus Expectations and Rules. We talked about what this looked and sounded like on the school bus. Attached are the Bus Expectations we went over with the kids. We encourage you to look over the document and highlight these with your children. This will help to ensure everyone is doing their job to get from point A to point B safely.
After we went over these expectations, we took the students to a bus to show them the safety exits and features on the bus. We also talked about when we might have to use these exits. Lastly, we practiced evacuating the bus from the rear exit. The students participated well and asked great questions about bus safety.
