Andrew Community School uses the 3, 2, 1 system above in each classroom. Each student starts their day on a level 2. A level 2 means that students are able to make choices that follow the 7 Habits and are able to lead themselves. Throughout the day, based on the behaviors students demonstrate above, they can remain on a level 2 or move to a level 3 or level 1. This “movement” continues throughout the day depending on the choices students make. Students will follow this same system in all classrooms, including “specials.” The level that students end on at the end of the day will be the number they record in their planners and leadership notebooks. Student planners will be sent home at the end of each day for all students in order to communicate with families how your student has demonstrated they followed the 7 Habits. Please feel free to talk with your student’s classroom teacher or with me if you have any questions regarding our 3, 2, 1 system.
