The middle school students will be traveling to H&H Ranch on Wednesday, August 30 from 1:00-3:00. H&H Ranch is located in Zwingle, IA. We will be leaving school at 12:45 P.M. and will be returning around 3:15 P.M. Our 1st Project Based Learning unit is entitled, “Old MacDonald went to School”. The teachers will be directly teaching specific standards in connection to this project during math, science and english/language arts throughout the upcoming weeks. Our essential questions are : How do we feed the world? Why are farms important? How can we make food/meals more affordable & still be healthy?
All students will attend the field trip unless a parent or guardian contacts the school to communicate that you do not want them to attend. Students are also expected to follow the behavior expectations that are implemented throughout the school day. If a student is not following these expectations, they will be brought back to school by a staff member.
