Dear Families, For our upcoming Make A Difference Day we are asking for donations. We are asking for you to bring in an unopened pillow or a brand new white pillowcase for our Sleep in Heavenly Peace Fundraiser. (Please keep everything in the original package!) The pillowcases will be tye-dyed by our students as part of our Make a Difference Day. Then we will donate the pillows and pillowcases to Sleep in Heavenly Peace for them to use as needed. We are excited for this project and we look forward to having your help. Please bring donations in during conferences on October 11th & 12th. We are trying to stuff a bus and a suburban with pillows and pillowcases! Thank you for your help!

Families, The city of Andrew is repaving the road at the back of the school and in front of the cemetery. This means you will not be able to enter that road for drop-off or pickup for the next 2 days. The plan is going to be for cars to enter from Calhoun Street (the normal drop-off/pickup exit) and circle around. As you enter, please stay to the right and circle around like at normal drop-off. A person will be at the gate to help direct traffic. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Kindergarten-3rd Grade Families, Attached you will find a sheet sent home inviting your child the opportunity to join Clover Kids. Clover Kids is a fun 4-H program specifically designed for children in kindergarten through third grade. Clover Kids fosters positive relationships and builds valuable life skills through a variety of hands-on activities.

Hello Andrew Band Students and families! If your student is playing the clarinet or the saxophone in band this school year, they will need reeds. These reeds are an extra cost, but they are needed in order to play the instrument. If this is something that you have questions about or want to discuss further with me, please contact me! Andrew Families, Today a paper was sent home from Genesis for the Flu Clinic. They will come on October 6, 2023, to give Flu shots. Online forms must be filled out by October 2, 2023. If you don't complete it by this date, your child cannot get their flu shot at our Flu Clinic. The website to complete the consent form is https://genesishealth.com/fluform.

Andrew Families, The phones have been fixed so you can call the office now. We are still trying to reconnect our Facebook page and will hopefully get that issue fixed by the end of the day. Families, For some reason, our phone line is not working correctly. The phone keeps circling back to the options of dialing 1 to talk with someone at the school and 2 for someone at Little Leaders. We apologize for this inconvenience and have someone coming out Monday morning to fix it. Just a reminder that the fundraiser orders and 5K Spooky Sprint signups are both due on Tuesday, September 26th.

Yesterday we talked with all the students who ride a school bus to or from school about our bus expectations. We informed the students why it was important to follow each of these expectations. Attached you will find the sheet that helps show these expectations.

Families and Community Members, We just wanted to remind everyone if you plan on participating in the 5K Spooky Sprint, registration is due by September 26th. The shirts will be orange and the design and wording will be made with glow-in-the-dark ink...
